Positive energy is not the type of energy that provides you the ability to turn on lights or start engines but rather the kind of energy that helps you maximize your personal productivity and enjoy life more.
Do you remember a moment when you were feeling totally empowered to take on your day? Are there times in your busy life when you were so relaxed you could float off into space and just enjoy the moment? If the answer is yes to either of these questions, you’ve experienced positive energy.
By creating positive energy in your surroundings you can change your life and bring about your desired results. Energy always surrounds you and it affects you either positively or negatively. Are your surroundings at home supporting you and providing you a positive energy boost or holding you back and weighing you down?
Create more positive energy today
The more positive energy you can surround yourself with, the more productive you become, and the more control you will have over yourself and your life. Positive energy is the conduit for increasing your productivity, creating work/life balance and controlling the world around you, including good health and happiness. Even though there are a vast number of techniques that can be used to do this in your home, the following three are the most important ones.
Three areas of your home are vital for positive energy
The front entrance – create an entrance to your home that is welcoming. Positive energy needs to get into your home before it can help you. Get rid of anything in your yard or near the front door that blocks the natural flow of energy such as outdated and cluttered yard décor and weeds or dead plantings. Add color and vibrancy with fresh plants by the front door to encourage that new positive energy to enter.
Once you are confident positive energy is reaching your front door and entering your home, make sure that new energy can meander throughout your entire home instead of rushing right through, taking prosperity and happiness with it. Energy entering your home should not have a clear straight path to windows on opposite walls, down corridors or into bathrooms. In order to ensure the flow of that positive energy throughout, arrange the furniture in each room so that the energy can move slowly around things but not be blocked from passing into every room in your house. You can also slow energy down by placing a round rug in your entryway and the energy will slowly meander. Energy should linger — although not stop permanently and become stagnant and act like sinus congestion for your home.
Your bedroom – energy must enter the bedroom where you sleep so you can regenerate nightly. If your bedroom is down a hall or up the stairs, use a series pictures on the wall of the hallway or going up the stairs to encourage energy to proceed in that direction. Or, use floor runners or lighting to show the way down a long hall or staircase. If using pictures, use a combination of large and small to create a wavy effect to slow the energy down. If using a floor runner, make sure it has a slight wavy pattern in it for the same reason.
Narrow, long or dark hallways should always be well-lighted for both safety and the movement of energy. You need positive energy in your bedroom so you can rest well at night and be refreshed in the morning. Be sure to remove anything from under your bed so that the positive energy can also encircle your body while resting instead of becoming stagnant and turning into undesirable negative energy underneath you while you sleep. You need the regenerative energy of a good night’s sleep in order to be more mentally productive and in better control of yourself.
The kitchen – make sure that fresh positive energy enters your kitchen 24 hours per day, seven days per week. It is the only room and energy responsible for nourishment and physically energizing the body. The kitchen counters must be clear of clutter so the nourishment energy can find a spot to rest and linger long enough to regenerate anyone who passes through and any food prepared or served there.
Whether you love to cook and eat in or prefer dining out, the kitchen needs the appearance of wholesome food preparation and the sensory experience of nourishing fragrances.
Place three jars or sealed glass containers of colorful pasta or veggies floating in olive oil on the counter or island for live energy.
Place a basket of fresh fruit on your kitchen table for abundance and eating.
Use candles with spices or vanilla scents to create the enticing aroma of a freshly baked pie or homemade cookies.
These additions to the kitchen not only enhance the nourishment energy in the kitchen but bring back wonderful childhood memories, providing a brief moment of reflection, another nourishing energy.
Productivity and positive energy begin at home. Make sure positive energy lingers in your dwelling; it gives you more energy for regeneration, nourishment and rest. Surrounding yourself with positive energy is your key to being more productive and in control of your world.
