Are you thinking of updating, remodeling or giving a facelift to a room or your entire home? The good news is, remodeling makes way for harmony, joy and prosperity to enter your life; just be sure to avoid creating more chaos and disharmony while living through the process.
Is just the thought of remodeling or updating overwhelming? Are you in various stages of remodeling, restoring or refurbishing your home? What do you wish to accomplish besides painting walls, getting new furniture, new flooring or installing counter tops? While you are in the process of these new additions, don’t forget the most important change: creating a balanced flow of positive energy where no stagnant energy can collect in any room causing a loss in income, a decline in relationships or health.
Just the mere act of cleaning up, fixing up and modernizing creates great new energy for you and your home. By getting rid of the old and replacing it with new things you love, you are surrounding yourself with supportive nurturing energy.
Create a Prosperity and Harmony Plan
Make a Plan. As you are thinking about all the changes you want to make, map out every little detail, and be sure to keep in mind the flow of energy throughout your home. This way, you can energize the various areas of your home to ensure wealth, good health, prosperity and abundance and also save money. If energy gets stuck in corners, the back bedroom or a dark breakfast nook, it becomes stagnant and prevents new healthy and prosperous energy from circulating and staying long enough so you can receive its benefits.
Room and door placement matters! If you are upgrading bathrooms, check their location. If the bathroom is right in the middle of your home or very near the front door, it will be a huge energy drainer. Not only will the energy entering your home rush right into the bathroom but it will go right down the drain taking your prosperity and good luck right with it. Correct it by relocating the bathroom door so it faces a direction other than the front door. If that is not possible, always keep that door closed, the toilet seat down and the sink drain closed so the good energy will not enter the bathroom but rather meander throughout the house and help create abundance and prosperity.
Another common remodel problem is a stairway that faces the front door. All the great energy from the upstairs part of your home comes rushing down and flows right out the front door every time you open it, taking your prosperity, health and anything else of value with it. To correct this part of your home when remodeling, see if you can turn the bottom two steps slightly sideways so the energy actually flows in toward another part of your home. If not, budget for a nice round rug to place between the bottom step and the front door to encourage the energy to circulate throughout your home rather than rushing out the door.
Remove dark areas anywhere in your house. It doesn’t matter whether it is a dark hallway, a dark back entry from a garage, a stairwell or even a room with little or no natural light; make sure there is always light moving through those areas. Paint the walls a very light color. Add overhead lighting that is controlled by a wall switch or place a lamp with a timer in those areas so the light automatically turns on at dusk and off later in the evening. In some areas you may wish to have a light come on at 10:00 am and go off at bedtime to ensure that good energy is ever-present. The added lighting not only ensures energy will move properly through those areas but will also provide you safety when walking through them.
Avoid placing electronic equipment into bedrooms. When remodeling, make room for televisions, computers and electronics in the public areas of you home such as the living room, family or great room. Keep all that energy away from you so you can rest at night. If you are a late night television person, place the television in a wardrobe or cabinet so it can be behind doors when not in use. Be sure to close those doors when the lights go out. Electronic equipment never sleeps; it is always circulating energy and electrical currents, preventing you from receiving restful and restorative sleep.
Do not tear up all areas of your home at once. Stage your remodeling, face-lifting, updating into specific projects and tackle them one or two at a time. Always maintain at least one room that is not torn up so you can prevent yourself from becoming overwhelmed by retreating to your calm area with no chaos surrounding you. This is the most important step that most people overlook.
When complete, your changes should bring you joy and lots of new energy to help you create harmony, prosperity and abundance. By creating a plan, tackling problem areas and not trying to do too much at one time you will avoid chaos and disharmony while making way for newfound harmony and prosperity.
